Biaggi: "A weekend of mistakes"

Max Biaggi left the circuit almost immediately to return home, but took the time for a quick comment on his disappointing weekend before doing so: "It was a difficult weekend, and some of my mistakes ruined these three days. Now I'm only thinking about the next race, where I will try to do what I do best, and hopefully I won't repeat what happened at Donington Park. You always learn from your mistakes, and that's what I will do after thinking about this weekend."

Aside from Race 1, where he ran long on a couple of occasions and finished seventh, the big problem came in Race 2: "I realized that I moved early, and moved quite a bit, so I knew that my race would be heavily compromised. I then tried to push as hard as possible, but I lost concentration in the opening laps because of the error at the start and I was sliding backwards through the field. I didn't see the signs on the pit wall, and I feel really sorry for my team."
