Biaggi using the #1 in Australia
Article from http://www.gpone.com/index.php/en/slider/2922-a.html
Take a good look at this picture: it's probably the last time you will see Max Biaggi running his trademark number 3 on the championship winning Aprilia RSV-4. Starting with the Phillip Island test sessions next Monday and Tuesday, Max will likely begin using the world champion's number 1 plate. As Jorge Lorenzo has done in MotoGP, after giving up the number 99, the Roman rider will prepare special graphics for the champion's number.
"At the moment, the RSV's are still in the livery seen during the presentation. That is, with the number 3 on them - team manager Francesco Guidotti told us from Phillip island - but I get the feeling that this can change."
Of course this is all contingent on Max not having a sudden change of heart when he sees the #1 for the first time, but that's not likely to happen.
