Capirossi initiates work with Pramac

Loris Capirossi gave a positive reaction to his first day of testing with Pramac Racing at Valencia on Tuesday, as he rode the Desmosedici GP10 for the first time. The Italian was 15th on the timesheet as he completed 71 laps in total.

“It’s been good and we’ve worked step by step. Of course the conditions weren’t the best but I want to learn the bike and get a good feeling, I’m not looking for times. The feeling is good. This Test is mainly to find a base setting – I tried many different things. I did 45 laps on the same tyres and I didn’t change from the morning, which is good to understand the bike.”

“Loris started working on the Ducati today and it was a good first impression. The lap times are not so important now, first of all we must make sure that Loris can have total confidence in what the bike can give to him. The wind has created some complications too and he didn't want to force it too much. Hopefully tomorrow the weather conditions will improve."
