Terol heads 125cc warm up

Terol who is on pole position for the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar, has led every session held in Losail and repeated that in the warm up with a lap time of 2’06.840 which was two tenths slower than his pole time set earlier today. The Spanish rider was 1.200 seconds faster than his nearest competitor Hector Faubel (Bankia Aspar).
Sandro Cortese (Intact Racing Team Germany) was again near the top of the pack in third position, 1.372 behind Terol and was one place ahead of Alberto Moncayo (Team Andalucía Banca Cívica). The surprise result from warm-up was the strong showing of Adrián Martín (Bankia Aspar) recording the fifth fastest time.
With the temperature warmer than previous days and without the strong headwinds, it was the final time for the 125cc class to make any adjustments on track in the twenty minute warm-up, before the opening race of the 2011 season tomorrow.
Danny Webb (Mahindra Racing) was involved in a crash during warm-up and damaged the bike ending up in 16th place. His team-mate Marcel Schrötter (Mahindra Racing) also joined him on the tarmac. Danny Kent( Red Bull Ajo Motorsport) was one place ahead in 15th.
