Hopkins back in MotoGP for Qatar test!

As we first mentioned on Monday, John Hopkins will make a return to the MotoGP scene. The confirmation comes from MCN, who spoke with Suzuki team manager Paul Denning.

"John will be back on an RGV during the Qatar test - Denning said - we are obliged by Dorna to field at least one bike, and Hopkins is the perfect candidate to substitute for Alvaro Bautista if necessary."

So Hopper will be the reserve rider for the manufacturer from Hamamatsu, while simultaneously competing full time in the British Superbike Championship with Crescent Suzuki.
