Lorenzo wraps up Indonesia tour with Bali stop
Article from http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2011/Lorenzo+finishes+Indonesia+tour+in+Bali
MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo rounded off his tour of Indonesia with a stop in Bali on Monday, having taken in a busy four-day schedule of events as part of a Yamaha tour of the Asian country.
Having flown into the island on Monday morning from his previous stop at Surabaya, Lorenzo met 1200 Yamaha customers upon his arrival. The 23 year-old factory Yamaha rider then took part in a traditional Indonesian show on stage with 100 local actors, as he fully embraced the local hospitality.
Once the show was over a lucky selection of Yamaha dealers and customers joined Lorenzo for a dinner at a special safari restaurant. In spectacular surroundings the MotoGP World Champion and his fellow diners ate whilst surrounded by wild animals which included lions, tigers and crocodiles, separated by just a glass wall.
Lorenzo will now enjoy a week’s holiday in Bali before heading to Malaysia on January 27th, ready for the first official MotoGP Test of 2011 which takes place at Sepang from February 1st-3rd.
